Ice Fishing

We target most NYS freshwater species all winter long including Walleye, Northern Pike, Tiger Musky, Various Trout Species, Landlocked Atlantic Salmon and Perch.
Trips are catered to the client’s needs. The targeted species will determine its location. Most fishing locations are within one hour of Syracuse, New York.

World Famous NY Rivers: Salmon, steelhead & brown trout
SEASON - September to May

Salmon season is September through October and the average fish is 15 to 25lbs – with 30lbs being very common. For most of the month of September we target these freshwater predators entirely out of the drift boat as they are entering the river from the lake. As we get closer to and all throughout October we will be hunting these river monsters down throughout the entire river system.
Steelhead and Browns season is the end of October through April and the average fish is 5 to 12lbs with 15lb plus fish showing up throughout the season. For Late October through April we mainly fish entirely out of the drift boat for steelhead and browns as they spread throughout the river gorging themselves on eggs and preparing for their spawn.

CNY lake charters Season: April to September | Trip Length: 6 - 8 Hours
Our lake season is one of the favorite times of the year because we get spread our wings and show our clients what central New York lakes have to offer. We have something for everyone from jigging massive lake trout in 100+ feet of water to casting for tiger musky in the shallows you will have memories that will last a lifetime. We fish some of the best central New York lakes so we are able to keep you on the hot bite with Cayuga, Oneida and Otisco being some of our favorites. Don’t wait lets make your fishing adventure a reality!
We specialize in using spinning, trolling, fly and centrepin gear so if there is something specific you would like to learn or experience please let us know prior to your trip. We use a variety of techniques when targeting these fish with a combination of live bait and lures being the most common.
Most trips are done entirely out of the boat but we do offer wading and shore trips for anyone who decides the boat isn’t for them. Most spots are within 1 hour of Syracuse NY. These trips are some of my favorites all spring and summer long when the most species are available to target.
Targeted species are Lake trout, Brown trout, Rainbow trout, Tiger Musky, Walleye, Northern Pike, Bass, Bowfin, Perch and many others.
